“The way in which we talk about feet washing in our churches is something that doesn’t encourage the practice.”
“Washing the Saints’ Feet” is an ordinance held by the National Association of Free Will Baptists, Inc. (https://nafwb.org/treatise/). Dr. Kevin Hester, Dean of the School of Theology at Welch College, discusses the significance and importance of the practice of feet washing.
Feet washing will be observed during a special service Sunday afternoon at 3:00 p.m. at the 2022 National Convention. Communion will be observed at 7:00 p.m. during the evening worship service.
